Author notes: Yeay, another vampire themed fic from me. sorry it took a while to updated this blog and fic. This one is a multi-pair and multi-fandom band. and just a few notes to read regarding the characters: I take LUNA SEA from their REW era, Kiyoharu from 'aibu' MV and Ryutaro from 'fukurou' MV (on his 'makeup' mode) and from Merry-go-around the world dvd (for his daily looks).
And so very sorry if the plot is confusing (but i hope it's not that confusing though) because i took two perspective.... ah alright alright.. like usual comments and review are gladly accepted :)
STORY
NIGHT ONE : LUNACY
"Are you thirsty?,"
Kiyoharu asked J who is still leaning to the wall, staring out of the window.
"You better found humans
and drink their blood," Kiyoharu lit up his cigarette.
"And you?"
"I'll stay here. There's
always a possibility of someone will found us and attack us here",
Kiyoharu answered.
"I'll go with you, J-san",
Ryutaro stands up.
"Okay", J nods.
"Be careful, those
vampire's hunters are everywhere", Kiyoharu put down his cigarrette for a
while, and leaned over to kiss Ryutaro's forehead before bid him farewell.
“Don’t let your guard down
too, Kiyoharu-san,” J said before they fly away from the abandoned house where
they lived.

Inoran just sit in the
luxurious room, watching a pile of book in front of him. He drag a cigarette
and light it up, feeling bored.
"Have you done reading
it?", Sugizo asked.
Inoran nods. Then he stand
up. "I'm gonna take a walk for a moment." He grabs his coat and wear
it.
"Where are you
going?"
"Somewhere nice and
quiet," Inoran replied.
"Take this," Sugizo
give Inoran a knife. The knife is made of silver, so beautifully decorated, and
the handle has a blossom rose design and a round symbol with words LUNACY at
the end of it. The leather cover of the knife also has a ruby on each side of
it.
"What for?", Inoran
looks confused.
"You won't know when and
where the vampires will attack you," Sugizo put the knife in Inoran's
hand, insists that he must bring the knife with him tonight.
"Do you still think that
they are exist here?" Inoran raised an eyebrow, he never believe that vampires
still lived among them. All he knows that the vampire hunters already chase
them away out of this town.
"Well, we have to be
careful. I've got several reports that some people died mysteriously due to
blood loss," Sugizo explained.
Inoran sighed, "Okay."
He keeps the knife on a pocket beneath his coat, then start to walks away from
the room, with cigarette on his hand.
"Ino," Sugizo
called.
"Yeah?" Inoran
stopped.
"Remember to stab them in
the heart. Otherwise they won't die."
Inoran nods and continues his
steps.

J stops in a rooftop as he
see someone walks out from a luxurious house. From this height, he still can
see perfectly that the person who walks down there is holding a cigarette and
smoke it. He seems a little bit bored and he's all alone.
J grins. Finally his chance to
avenge his brother's death came.
J's brother, Hide, is killed
by Sugizo -the vampire hunter- when they are fighting. Thus made some vampires
fled out of the town. Hide was known as the vampire leader in this town.
"Should we attack him
now?", Ryutaro asked.
"Nope, let me deal with
this one," J still watches the young man below them. He knows the young
man. He is Inoran, Sugizo's younger brother. Unlike his older brother, Inoran
is actually not a member of the vampire hunters. J has been watching over him
ever since he got the plan to take a revenge for Hide's death, but he can only
do that from far away. Usually Inoran will go out with Sugizo in the night. That's
why, if J was too close when he watched them, he afraid that Sugizo will know
his presence. But tonight, Inoran goes out all alone, without Sugizo.
J knows that what he's going
to do to Inoran is a little bit unfair, but at least that will make Sugizo
suffered too.
"Alright, I'll be on
guard. If you need anything.."
"I'll call you, don't
worry, Ryutaro-kun," J grins and walks fast, following the young man.
Ryutaro watches him in
silence.

Inoran enters one of the best
taverns in town and order a beer to relieve his thirst. The tavern is usually
full of people, but not tonight. Maybe those people are tired. But it doesn't
matter. Inoran glad that he can get some peaceful moment in this tavern.
After some drinks, Inoran
decided to leave the tavern.
"Be careful, young man.
There are bandits everywhere now," the owner of the tavern warns him.
'Great, after vampires, now
bandits are also in this town,' Inoran sighed.
"Okay, I'll be very
careful, thanks," Inoran smiles after paying his bills, and walks out from
the tavern.
The moon is still shining
brightly in the sky. Inoran is running out of cigarettes, so he decided to go
back home. He doesn't notice that some people is following him.
As Inoran walks to an empty
street, he noticed that he has been followed by an unknown person. He turns and
tried to walk to the other way around when a person also appear in front of
him, smiling.
"Looks like we got a
nice catch tonight," the third person appears.
Now Inoran is being trapped
with those people. He still tried to stay calm and slipped his hand to the pocket
in his coat where he hid the knife Sugizo gave him.
When those people step
forward and tries to attack him, Inoran fights back.

J watches everything from
above. He noticed that Inoran is still amateur on using a knife, so different
with his brother. He only sit on a rooftop, watching everything with anxiety,
wondering what will happened to the young man who supposed to be his prey
tonight.

"Shit!" Inoran
makes a wrong move and it gives his enemy the advantage to hit Inoran's hand
and make his grip to the knife loosened. The knife fall down to the street and
being stepped by one of the thugs.
"There's no need to
fight back, just give us your money, and we'll let you go."
Inoran stares at them
fiercely and punches one of the thugs on his face. That punch makes his nose
bleeding and someone push Inoran to the ground.
"I'm gonna kill
you!" The thug shouts at him with anger.
Inoran grabs some dust in his
hand and throw it to the thugs face.
"Damn! I can't
see!"
Inoran seizes the moment to
runaway.
"Catch him! Don't let
him get away!" the thug shouts while rubbing his eyes and the other two
start to run, chasing Inoran.
***
Skillful, nope. Smart, yes.
That's what J thinks of the young man.
He grins and flying down from
the rooftop.
"Shit, that brat hurts
my eyes!" The thugs still complains and rubbed his eyes.
"Don't worry, you won't
feel that hurt again soon," J said. He noticed the knife that is still
lying on the ground. The vampire hunter's knife. J takes it from the ground and
keeps it in his pocket. This way Inoran won't be able to kill him.
"Who are you?!"
"J-san, I think he is in
danger," Ryutaro suddenly appear from the dark side in the street.
"Alright, thanks,
Ryu-kun, I'll leave this one to you. You can take him to Kiyoharu-san if you want,"
J said before leaving.
Ryutaro nod and came to the
thug.
"Who are you guys?"
The thug, still rubbing his eyes, trying to reach his gun, but Ryutaro hold his
hand before he can release a fire and bite his neck, he really doesn't care
with the thug's scream of pain.

"Let me go! I'm gonna
kill you all!", Inoran is struggling to let himself free from these thugs.
He was caught by them when he
tried to run to a small street.
"No, we're the one who's
gonna kill you," one of the thugs showing his gun, "if only you are
more cooperative with us, we won't have to kill you."
Inoran still trying to get
his hands free, but the thug behind him is very strong.
"Don't worry, we'll do
it fast."
A scream from the previous
street distract the attention of those thugs. Inoran felt something strange
happens behind him when the thugs in front of him panic and searching for the
source of that screaming voice. When the thug in front of him turns his sight to
him again, he looks surprised.
"Wh.. What happened
here?"
The thug pulls the trigger
and releases a shot. The bullets flying through the side of Inoran's body which
make Inoran feels scared and trembles. The next one will surely hit his body.
The thug release another
shot, and it almost hit him again. Then he felt his hand is free and someone
whispers in his ear, "Go away."
Inoran do what the man said.
He tries to run, but he's also curious of what's exactly that happens behind
him. It’s weird because he didn't notice
that there's someone else behind him except the thug.
Inoran finally decided to
look back, because he wants to see who is the one that helped him, and he stops
running when he see someone tall with a short blonde hair is now standing in
front of the thug, grabbing the body of the thug that previously caught him,
now dead.
"What the hell that just
happened?" Inoran looks confused. He never sees that tall-blonde man
before. He looks scary, but at least he helped him.
Inoran accidentally stepped
on a branch and the sound makes the thug looking at him again. "There you
are." The thug releases a shot on his direction.
Inoran too confused to do
something and he just realized it the moment before the bullet hit him. Inoran
closed his eyes and thinking that this is probably the last moment on his life.
But he feels strange because he doesn't feel the pain. As he opens his eyes, he
is shock to see someone standing in front of him, using his body as a shield to
protect Ino from the bullet. The person who protects him is the tall-blonde
person that he sees before.
Blood is coming from the
wounds where the bullet hit him and this making Ino worried, "h..hey.. Why
are you doing this?" Inoran asks.
"I just can't let you
die now," the person answered.
"But I don't know
you," Inoran is a bit confused because he never knew this man before but
this man willing to sacrifice himself to protect him.
"It doesn't
matter," a shot hit his body again. Leaving another blood-stained wound
near his chest. He's almost collapse to the ground.
"Hey.. Listen, just go
away from here, you shouldn't die just for a stranger like me," Inoran
looks panic.
The man just grins. He
grabbed something from his pocket. It’s the knife that Sugizo gave him.
"Both of you will die
now," the thug looks mad and going to give another shot, but the tall man
throw the knife at him and stabbed exactly right on his heart, making the thug
died instantly before he get the chance to release his shot.
Inoran is amazes by the tall
man's skill, but then he realizes the bleeding wounds in the man's body.
"Hang in there, I'll
take you to the hospital," Inoran searching anything that he could use to stop
the bleeding.

J is staring at Inoran who
still trying to stop his bleeding. He wouldn't die just because of being shot
like this, but this is the first time he sees someone cares about him like
this. He also didn't understand why he stepped on to protect Inoran like this.
He could just let the thug kill him, and then drink his blood later. J gave
excuses to himself that he should be the one that kill this young man himself,
he doesn't want those thug taking his prey tonight.
Inoran managed to grab a
cloth that he takes from the thug and wrapped it up on J's wounds.
"I hope it could stop
your bleeding temporarily until we get to the hospital," Inoran said.
"No, don't take me to the
hospital," J requested.
"But your wounds......,"
"I'm gonna be
alright..." J just realizes now, this man that now still trying to take
care of his wounds looks so beautiful. Different than his older brother, he seems
so innocent and pure. All these times, J could only look at him from far away, but
as they are now face to face like this, somehow, it kinda amazes him.
Inoran put his hand around
J's shoulder to help him stand up and walk. "If you don't want to go to
the hospital, I'm gonna take you to the doctor that I know."
"You really don't have
to do that," J said.
"You're going with me,
like it or not," Inoran insisted.
J sighs. This young man is so
stubborn. Inoran's head is already close enough to him. It will only need one bite
on his neck, then his revenge plan will be succeed.
Meanwhile, Ryutaro walk
closer to the thug who just being stabbed by J when J already walked away with
Inoran. Ryutaro took out the knife from the thug's body and examine the knife.
"Lunacy," he mumbled. It would be a trouble for them if J couldn't
kill Inoran.

Inoran still helping J to
walk, "what's your name?"
J replies briefly, "You
can call me J."
"Your name is really
short," Inoran chuckles. "My name is Inoran."
Inoran takes J to someone's
house. There's a bench located near the front door of the house and Inoran help
J to sit on the bench. "Your body is getting cold, here, take my coat. I'm
gonna wake him up first," Inoran took off his coat and give it to J. Then
he steps to the front door and knocks it, "Ryu-chan, are you awake now?
Please open the door!"
J holds Inoran's coat. It’s
usual for him to feel this coldness; he's not a human after all. He throws a
glance at the house. It's like the other houses, nothing unusual.
The door is opened and Inoran
came in for a while, leaving the door unguard. Even from this distance, J could
see what the living room looks like. There's a couch with a lamp and pot
plants, a beautiful carpet and a nice chandelier. But he stands up when he see
several decorated items hanging on the wall. A sword with something like an
emblem with the words LUNACY written on it. He have to go, otherwise this
person will surely kills him.
J hurrily takes a few steps
away from that place and jumps to a rooftop. He watches it from far away when
Inoran came out and search for him panicly.

"Are you sure?"
Ryuichi ask Inoran with disbelief.
"Of course, he's just
here a few minutes ago!" Inoran replied, looking around him to search for the
man that helped him before.
"You're not drunk, aren't
you?" Ryuichi staring at Inoran from head to toe.
"I'm not! For God sake,
Ryu-chan, he helped me, he stand up in front of me and took those shots for me!
He saved my life!"
"Well, but he's not
here," Ryuichi yawn.
"He got shots, Ryu-chan!
That's why I want you to help him."
"Listen," Ryuichi
hold Inoran's shoulder. "He's already gone now. Maybe he didn't want your
help. Maybe he's okay now."
Inoran staring at Ryuichi
then turns his gaze away. "I hope so."

"You're back,"
Kiyoharu greets J who just came back to their place.
"Yeah," J still
hold the coat Ino gave him before.
"Nice coat,"
Kiyoharu commented.
"It's not mine," J
replied briefly before stepping to his own room.
"So how's your hunt,
leader-sama?"
"Like usual," J
then closed his door.
Kiyoharu grins then looks at
Ryutaro who already came before J and now is sitting beside him. Ryutaro moves
his body closer so he could lean on Kiyoharu's body while Kiyoharu holds his
shoulder.
"Seems like he's not in
a good mood," Kiyoharu said.
Ryutaro gave Kiyoharu a
knife. "His target is a Lunacy member."
"Really?" Kiyoharu
accepted the knife and examines it. "So our revenge is going to start
soon, right?" Kiyoharu holds the knife.
"But I have a feeling
that it’s not gonna be like what we've expected," Ryutaro said.
"Why?" Kiyoharu
looks curious.
"I don't know,"
Ryutaro drag a cigarette and lit it up. "Do you ever see J-san sacrificed
himself to protect other people?"
Kiyoharu tried to remember
the last time he saw it, "I saw it once, when he tried to protect
Hide-san." Kiyoharu noticed the uneasiness in Ryutaro's expression.
"What's wrong, baby?" He touches Ryutaro's face.
"Today, he protects
another person. A human." Ryutaro answered.
"Really? Well, that's a
rare occasion. J usually won't be bothered by something like that."
"The problem
is...." Ryutaro silenced for a while then continues, "The person that
he protected was the owner of that knife."
Kiyoharu looks shocked.
"What?! That can't be...."
Ryutaro nods slowly.
"We're gonna be in a big trouble."

A week later
Inoran sighed. He's already
getting bored with his college lessons. Even in his mansion, everything feels
so boring. Sugizo told him to take a combat lesson in order to keep him safe,
after he told him that he was almost beaten by some thugs. He knows that it's
for his own sake, but sometimes it makes him bored. He wants to try something
new. He started it by changing the way he looks now.
He's now trying to put some
makeup to his lovely face, and tried a new hairstyle for his long hair. He
painted his nails black. Though some people looking at him with a weird looks
on their face, but Inoran doesn't give a damn about that. Yet, now, that
boredom comes back again.
It's already night-time when
he stepped out from the college building. Inoran used his long dark coat, which
has the logo of LUNACY on the pocket side.
His best-friend, Shinya, walk
along with him. "So, have anything to do today?"
"Sugizo told me to
immediately come home after the lessons," Inoran yawn. "What about
you?"
"Well, my mother told me
to take care some of her stuff today. So I have to go back home soon."
"Too bad, huh? I thought
we could hang around before we go home," Inoran commented.
"Yeah." Shinya
replied lazily. "Maybe we could do that next time."

J watched the two young men below
him walking away from the rooftop of a building. They talk about something and
sometimes laughed.
J kept his eyes on one of the
man. Inoran. He looks different now with his new style. And he's more beautiful
than the last time they met.
J secretly following him. He
can't stop watching that smile on his face. Ever since that day when he
supposed to killed him, J couldn't forget him. He didn't know why. He had to
fight the urge to see Inoran these days because Kiyoharu always made him busy
with their hunt for blood. Some vampires also came recently, to talk about
their plan in order to destroy and have revenge to Lunacy, the only vampire
hunters troupe in this town.
J hold Inoran's coat that was
given to him when he was shot. He wants to give it back to Inoran. But he will
just wait until Inoran is alone, because maybe his friend there is a member of
Lunacy. Usually Lunacy's members could notice the slight difference between a
vampire and a normal human. He couldn't take a risk to fight against a Lunacy
member alone. Not after he saw how Hide was stabbed to death by Sugizo. It's
not because he's afraid, but it's just a precaution step.

"See you tomorrow,"
Shinya waved his hand to Ino.
"Yeah. See you,"
Inoran smiled and waved back to his best friend.
"Be careful,"
Shinya said and Inoran reply him with a nod. He stands still until he sees the
shadow of his friend disappear behind the gate of his house and continues
walking after that.
Inoran walks to an empty
street that he used to take if he wants to make a detour before going back to
his house. Sugizo will be mad if he comes home late, but right now, he just
wants to take a break from his daily routines.
Inoran let out a sigh and
grab a cigarette from his pocket. He still thinks about the thing that happened
to him before. About someone who helped him that time. He never saw him again
ever since that day. He tried to search for him, there were some people who
have a tall figures with blonde hair and some people who used to be called 'J'
but none of them is the same J that helped him before.
"Hey," someone
called him from behind. Ino turns his head and staring with disbelief when he
see the person who's calling him.

J flies down from the rooftop
as soon as he sees Inoran walks to the place where he almost died by some
thugs. It amused him that Inoran is going to the place where he almost lost his
life because he knew that some people will just scared to come to the same
place where they experienced bad things.
Maybe he was right. Maybe
Inoran is really different than any other people he ever met before.
"Hey," J called and
Inoran turns his head. He looks surprised.
But then he smiles in relief. J must admit that Inoran smile makes him lost
his words for a moment. He's just so beautiful that J couldn't take his eyes
off him.
"I've been searching for
you all this time," Inoran says.
"Really?" J
replies, hiding his own excitement behind his cool expression. Yes, he's more
excited to meet Inoran rather than when he meets his other prey and that's
really weird because J usually doesn't want to know anything about other people.
"Yeah," Inoran
steps closer to J. "Are you okay now? How about your wounds?"
"I'm okay now, don't worry," J replies
calmly.
"Why did you go that
time?"
"Eh? Um... Well... I
just...." J nervously trying to find an excuse to answer Inoran. He can't
answer that he runaway because he knew that Inoran's friend was a Lunacy
member, it will be too obvious. "I... I don't want to be your burden, and
luckily I met my friend." Lame excuses as it is, but better than the truth.
But Inoran just smiles,
"that's good. At least you are okay now, I'm really worried because I
thought you were already....." Inoran doesn't continue his words but J
knows exactly what's he's going to say.
"Don't worry, I won't
die that easily." J grins. "Why are you here? You might get caught by
another thug."
"I was.....," Inoran
nervously biting his lip, "waiting for you." He added seconds later.
J just stares at the human in
front of him. He is waiting for him? If only he knew that he's going to kill
him that time, would he still be this nice? And what is this unknown feeling
that comes to him right now, every time he sees Inoran smiling at him?
This is weird and he knows
that he shouldn't have a feeling against humans, but he can't stop this.
"You don't have to wait
for me again. Here, I'm giving back your coat," J gives Inoran his coat and
turns around, preparing to leave, when suddenly Inoran take his hand, "wait."
J turns around and making him
face to face with Inoran again, but Inoran tripped over something on the road
and bumped into J. Both of them fall down with Inoran landed on top of J and his
lips accidentally touch J's lips. It’s really an accidental kiss, a very light
kiss but he could feel the texture of Inoran's lips. So soft and warm.
"Ah... I'm sorry,"
Inoran moves away awkwardly and stand up while trying to hide the blush on his
face but fails as J could clearly see it.
"It's okay," J
replies after he stands up too and tries to calm himself. He knows it, he
should just stay away from this man.

"J, are you going to
hunt for blood again tonight?" Kiyoharu knocks J's room door, but no reply
came from inside.
"Hey, leader-san,"
Kiyoharu knocks again, then opens the door slowly. The room is dark as always,
but there's no sign of J inside the room. The bed is still neat but the windows
are open.
"Where the hell did he
go?" Kiyoharu mumbles as he walks back to the lounge.
"What's the
matter?" Ryutaro asks while walking out of his own room. He just wakes up,
his hair is still messy.
"J just left us,"
Kiyoharu answer, his hand grabs a cigarette and lit it up. "I thought we
are going to hunt together again like yesterday."
"Maybe he just wants to
do it alone." Ryutaro grabs a bottle that contains human’s blood inside
and pour the liquid into a glass.
"I guess so, but he
should've told us before he leave," Kiyoharu sits on the couch.
"Yeah," Ryutaro
gulped the blood and suddenly took a glance at the Lunacy's knife that is now
being held by Kiyoharu. It's a little bit unusual to see J put that knife on
the table. After Ryutaro told him that he took the knife from the thug, J kept
that knife on his possesion, but now he seems to just left it unguard here.
"I wonder if we could
just attack Lunacy and kill all of their members," Kiyoharu plays the
knife on his hand.
"It wouldn't be as easy
as it seems," Ryutaro staring outside the window. Rain is falling tonight.
"I know," Kiyoharu
let out a sigh, "Ah, at least I'm save from the rain. Not many people will
come out on this kind of weather."
Ryutaro just stay silent,
watching droplets of rain falling down. Something is already happened now, he
could feel it. Something that might change their life.
